Hmong fabrics have been made since centuries by women in Vietnam, China, Laos and Cambodia, who painstakingly embroider and batik hemp and cotton fabrics which they then make into bags, jackets, skirts and pants. This jacket has been made in a patchwork of over 50 year old Hmong fabrics in a variety of embroidery and batik techniques.
